HONOUR AND MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS
Have you lost someone to Sepsis or Septic Shock?
Losing someone to Sepsis and/or Septic Shock can be sudden and devastating. In many cases, the individual that has passed away was in good health before they contracted the infection that progressed to Sepsis.
Anyone can get an infection. And any infection can progress to Sepsis. Sepsis can be unpredictable and affects people of all ages, across all demographics. Beyond supportive care and antibiotics, there are no current treatments for sepsis that exists. Advocacy and on-going research are very important to better patient outcomes.
Sepsis does not discriminate. Every two minutes somebody around the world dies from Sepsis.
Write “in memory of your loved one’s name” under the “note” prompt.
